HCG Drops, Day 3

I start my VLCD ("Very Low Calorie Diet") today.

I don't imagine it being too tough but I don't want to jinx myself.

I had absolutely no appetite during the loading days, but I did my best. :P I apparently gained 4-5 pounds, but it's also my T.O.M so some of that could be water weight.

My protocol allows me 2 cups of veggies, 2 cups of salad PLUS 100 grams of meat at lunch and again at dinner. I was allready eating less than that before. Well, more meat, definitely less veggies. We'll see how it goes.

Thanks to everyone who is still supporting me, despite the fact that they don't agree. And, if anyone is interested in this, I'm gonna be as honest as possible about it here, so you'll get the idea. :)

I weigh daily but I probably will still only change my tickers once a week.

Log coming later. :) Oh, and I am about to catch up on blog-reading here in a second!

  1. Ashley were did you get your protocol from? That sounds really off.. what about your fruit? Your meat should be 100grams a serving so 200grams a day (which is only 7oz) You should also only be having one vegetable a meal-no mixing. Not trying to criticize just help! The protocol is so important to making this work

  4. If you havent looked it at already this is Dr. Simeons protocol that all of us HCGers use:

Breakfast: Tea or coffee in any quantity without sugar. Only one tablespoonful of milk allowed in 24 hours. Stevia can be used as a sweetner

Lunch: One each of the following:

    1. 100 grams of veal, beef, chicken breast, fresh white fish, lobster, crab, or shrimp. All visible fat must be carefully removed before cooking, and the meat must be weighed raw. It must be boiled or grilled without additional fat. Salmon, eel, tuna, herring, dried or pickled fish are not allowed. The chicken must be removed from the bird.

    2. One type of vegetable only to be chosen from the following: spinach, chard, chicory, beet-greens, green salad, tomatoes, celery, fennel, onions, red radishes, cucumbers, asparagus, cabbage.

    3. One breadstick (grissino) or one Melba toast.

    4. An apple or an orange or a handful of strawberries or one-half grapefruit.

Dinner: The same four choices as lunch.
