Not liking the weekends

I did HORRIBLE this weekend. Friday and Saturday, I didn't eat dinner so I didn't get my calories in, and not only that, but I also drank alcohol both days, and not just a drink or 2.

Sunday I went to a mexican restaurant for lunch, though I tried to redeem myself at dinner with a grilled chicken salad w/ tomato.

Weekends are hard for me, so i'm going to have to figure out how to still continue to do this diet during weekends, even if I have to sit my butt at home all weekend. :P

So according to the scale, just from Sunday, apparently I gained back 4.3 pounds. I dunno about that but it sucks, bad.

Ok, so here I am... jumping back on track.

  1. It is highly likely that you gained that back in such a short period of time. I know, not what you wanted to hear. This diet is very picky about what you eat. The alcohol alone is a no no. I had a few days this weekend where I ate a touch off protocol and was super glad to see I kept it in check. It'll fall off soon if you follow it strictly.

  2. @Lynsey Thanks! Yeah I shouldn't have screwed up like I did. It won't kill me to not get to drink on weekends for a couple of weekends. I can still go out and hang out without having a drink. Definitely back on track now and hoping it doesn't take long to fall back off!

  3. Weekends are my struggle as wll. Drink lots & Lots of water and stay strick to protocol and it will fall right back off. The first weekend/gain is the hardest!! You almost do have to stay close to home while on VLCD.. atleast I do!

  4. thats freaky I swore I posted a comment on here but I guess it didn't go through. But as I typed before lol keep your head up you will lose it in no time. Don't completely stop you social life or the diet will get old real quick(which in most cases is why people quit their diets) That is weird that you would have gained 4 lbs because of one day but I guess the drops and how much your supposed to eat could be the reasonings. Good luck though as I said before keep your head up. At least you are trying this diet and if it doesn't work out for you, you can always go back to what you were doing before the drops. It seemed to work great for you. Im here if you need anything but I know you will be fine :)
